The 2.5.8 release has the following features added:
- C3D option to turn on or off the Y-up conversion that is normally applied
- C3D option to rename the root node with the new file name when doing an import/merge
- Some modifications to the mel scripts so they can be called by passing an argument (this may possibly break some batch scripts, but I have tried to put stubs in where possible)
- A simple batch tool for batching files from a template - this code can be used as a starting point to build on.
- On the first frame it now solves the root only first, then sets the rig to the default pose for all "passive" joints other than the root and starts from there. This should reduce the chance of elbows going the wrong way.
